Rachel's Hens Night

When one of my most favourite people in the world asked me to be the matron of honour at her wedding, I took my role very seriously! One of the jobs that I was expected to do was to arrange a hens night for the bride to be!

Given this right, I was ambushed by a stubborn bride that did not want to be Hen, but to have a serious dinner with family and a few friends - Well poo poo to you to Miss Rachel, here is my ode to you the reluctant hen who finally embraced her role xox

Did you really think that dinner at the Louisiana was just going to be another dinner?
A Veil, Some cocktails, some dancing, some laughing, crazy glasses, good company
= a great night had by all.

Adelaide's Northern Lights

For the past couple of years the Adelaide Council has lit up the old buildings along North Tce in the City with spectacular light displays. This is the first time that I have been to see the 'Northern Lights' and was not disappointed at all.

It is a completely free event and my kids had a ball, Harrison played in and around the light displays while Mitchell enjoyed the views from the comfort of his stroller and being rugged up tight in his blanket.

Easter 2010

This Easter was lovely as we got to share it with some wonderful friends. Rachel and I were flying solo because our significant other half's were celebrating Michael's bucks night the night before, however that did not stop the elusive Easter bunny from stopping at our house to deliver an abundant supply of chocolate eggs.

Easter bunny gave each of the kids their own private stash as well as hiding eggs all over the backyard - that is one busy bunny :-)

Our new car

Just thought I should do a few blog updates for events that have happened over the past few months, well we got a brand new shiney car. Since Graham left Holdens we figured that a family of four could no longer settle with a tiny 3 door Barina as our only car, hence the reason I finally gave into Grahams whining and got a SV6 Commodore.Let there be no confussion, this is my new car and I might let Graham drive it every now and then ;-) I have named her 'Ivy' based on the colour.
